Professional Cinematographer Research Part 3

For diversity I wanted to find some female cinematographers to show I was looking at both sides which turned out to be difficult but not impossible, the first one that caught my eye was Maryse Alberti.

She has worked on films such as:

The Wrestler - 2008
Creed - 2015

She began her cinematography career working for a company known as Apparatus where she made a full length documentary H-2 Worker where she won a her first award at the Sundance Film Festival in 1990. She managed to win it again in 1995 for her work on Crumb, another documentary.

Another cinematographer that caught my attention was Charlotte Bruus Christensen

She has worked on films such as:

Submarino - 2010
The Hunt - 2012
Far From The Madding Crowd - 2015
Fences - 2016

Her career started after she completed her degree at the National film and Television School in 2004, afterwards she went back to Denmark and worked on a short film. She has worked with Thomas Vinterberg three times on his 2010 film Submarino, his 2012 film The Hunt and finally his 2015 film Far From The Madding Crowd. Two awards she managed to win were a Vulcan award and a  Bodil Award for Best Cinematographer.
