Digital Production - Headsets and Props

Yesterday the lecturer, me and the director for part 2 worked on the headsets to insure they will work when we communicate with each other between the studio and gallery. 



These are the headsets that the camera operators will wear as well as the floor manager on the set itself

You plug the headset into a box (image above yellow box) as well as an XLR cable

The XLR cable will the connect to a microphone XLR on the wall




The XLR cable on thee wall has a number. You remove the corresponding XLR cable from the top of the sound mixer (image above)



That wire goes into the back of this box (image above) A person wearing he headset  can signal the box (image above) using a small yellow light which is on the front panel (box inside yellow outline). It works the same way as well - you can signal to someone in studio with the same method of the yellow light


After finishing with the headsets me and the director for the 2nd part went prop hunting. We managed to find some small bottles which will be used for potion bottles.
