Costumes and Props

In terms of costumes that I would like the characters to have it could go a few different ways depending on the genre I want the scene to feel like.

So if I wanted to go down the neo-noir style like Blade Runner I could have the main character - the detective wear something like a long coat, smart shirt and trousers. I feel this style would work best for the scene as the neo-noir genre is the one I envisioned the scene to be if I was to make it along with the full film.

Now if I wanted the detective to be in the real world police force then I could have them wear police outfit with the shirt, ties, smart trousers and jacket and have the police badge. This would work if I wanted to have a realistic approach to the scene if the scene went down in the real world.

Now in terms of props that could be included in the scene there are a few choices to go with.

In terms of handcuffs I could have the main character having them on them just in case or have the person getting questioned having them attaching them to the set.

In terms of the gun and holster the main character can have it on them or on the table to make sure the person getting questioned doesn't do anything. One issue would be being aloud to have a prop one because of the danger factor.

Again in terms of a cigarette, the main character can have one but the issue would be being aloud to have a prop one because of the danger factor.

In terms of a drink being on the set it could work but it would need to be securely shut in case of any spillage which could happen if the drink wasn't in a bottle or flask e.g.
