This week wee took 3 cameras, 3 mics, the vision and sound mixers to do a quiz show in the art cafe. A few issues came up such as not many people being available to be extras in the quiz show plus one of the digital crew accidentally dropped some equipment from a trolley they were pushing with a few scratches.
We did manage to get a level 4 student and level 6 student as contestants plus another level 4 student on one of the cameras and our lecturer as the host of the quiz. We managed to do a quick run through of the quiz:
For the sound we had to shotgun microphones placed on mic stands they were placed on the left and right of the main camera in order to pick up both the contestants and the host. When looking back at the footage I found the microphones could have been placed near to the contestants as we were picking up background sound so having them closer would have been more beneficial.

Then we did a real take. I believe it went well. I was on sound, there were a few issues but no major problems and I managed to sound well I think. Here is the real quiz:
