This week we had a competition that Lee put together which involved the P2 cameras as Lee wanted to test our knowledge on the cameras. The winner would get a drink at the RTS awards. I
was unfortunately not the winner and Andrew won the competition but I had fun
none the less.
Digital Cinema - 24fps
YouTube live streams - 30fps
NTSC - American setting
PAL setting - British setting
During multi am setting most of the camera setting should be the same
Menu 9 - Other Functions - System Frequency - 50 = Pal Switch off then on again
Computers work on progressive setting
Component out wire - connect to vision mixer
Keep output on everything the same
Switch off phantom power and sound
AC - Auto Current
DC - Direct Connect
SDI - On
Metadata - Off
Video Out SD
Idea Standard - Off
Scene Style - Video Cam - F1, Scene - F1
Can use P2 card to keep recordings on camera while vision mixing
Green Light - Safe to pull out, Orange light - Don't pull card out - P2 Camera
Orange - Preparing to record
