Notable Films

Alien - 1979

The Spreading Ground - 2000

Influences

His work on Alien influenced me because of the way he was able to use one main setting and location being the ship Nostromo/LV-426 to create a caustrophobic environment where none of the characters could get away and the Alien could hide away sneaking up to each crew member. This was helped by the dark lighting camera choices which hid the Alien from view and when you did see it something bad would happen.
