Final Review

So this is the final film edit for My Name is John and for the project overall, I think it went pretty well in all honesty. Although it did take some time to get used to the new equipment at the start and learning how to use it, I managed to get the hang of it and it helped create this film. 

I also believe everyone else in their roles did a good job and didn't have an issue as the director knew how she wanted the film so it was easy to know what she wanted, we got all the actors and locations found quickly so shooting could begin since we were on a time limit with the main actors availability and the sound and edit eventually got there after working on both roles and overall did well at managing two roles. 

Now onto my performance overall according to my learning agreement from the beginning of the project according to these learning outcomes:

The main reason why I want to do this is because I want to show off my skills as a cinematographer such as the lighting aspects I learned in my minor project which is very important for being a cinematographer. I will also be able to show off what I could do with the equipment we have available to use LO1.

By looking into other mockumenaries for lighting inspiration as well as with the equipment available I was able to look at the different scenes of My Name Is John and the lighting was easy to do.

On the side of creating the scene I will research appropriate aspects that are needed for the projects that I will be put on. I will also consider some professional cinematographers and how they progressed in the industry and where they came from. LO2.

Throughout the project I looked into many aspects of cinematography such as professional cinematographers in the industry, aspects that will help me when it comes to the role

Through the critical evaluation I will be able to reflect on the project on a whole and how I and the others in my groups did throughout and what did and didn’t go well. LO3

With the evaluation I was able to go through my performance throughout the project and criticize how I acted, how the films went overall, how my other group members performed.

I will be placed into two groups with the other members of my class and together will we have to produce the films that were pitched at the beginning and solve any issues that come up. LO4

I was placed on the films Echoes Of Silence and My Name Is John and in both groups managed to produced two good films that I am happy I was apart of and feel that they both went well.

At the beginning of the project before the films and groups are sorted the whole class will have to pitch ideas and the roles we would want to do for this project and after pitching so many films will be chosen to go into production. As I mentioned before my idea is called Mindscape. LO5 

With this I pitched my FMP called Mindscape at the beginning which could have been picked however it fell short of the other films that were eventually picked but I would still wan to make this in the future.
