So after I leave university I will have to start looking for work so to prepare for that I have looked into some jobs that require someone to work with the camera being a DOP, camera assistant or operator to get the feel of the things they require. Another option is to look for runner jobs.
So for example:
There is a job going for a camera assistant that i found. The film is being shot in Perivale, London. Now if I were to go for this it would be a struggle to get there considering the distance but if I did while working on the film an experienced cinematographer is on shoot which would be good for me considering I want to get into that role in the future.
i found this job which requires a DOP on a short film at Egham in June. Again it would be difficult to get there but the work on this film is paid which would be good as getting jobs with paid work will be more harder to find.
