For the second shooting day we planned to get a lot more of the film done such as the jib shot at the beginning of the film, fishing scenes for a flashback, the campfire scenes, the burial and a flashback on a hill.
The day did not start off well as we had a the screws for the jib not available so we couldn't do that shot but we managed to get some cutaways up on the moors. When it came to the fishing scenes for the flashback at Albert's Park in Middlesbrough that went really well as we managed to get a variety of angles for coverage. Later on in the day when we went to near Captain Cook's Monument for the burial scene we didn't have some of the important things such as the correct costume or prop bag so we need to do that again. Finally for the campfire scenes they went really well as we used a blue geld red head light as a back light which worked well and added to the scenes.
Overall a mixed day with scenes we managed to complete and scenes we need to do again but a good day in terms of what we managed to get filmed.
