On Wednesday 16th the group went to the North York Moors for a test shoot at some locations that were possible to be used.
The first place we looked at was these archways. What would happen is that the bandits would com down from the archways and stop the main character Sophie as she was walking along the path.
For this sequence it would involve me walking backwards keeping a bit of pace in front of Sophie. I would then look over to the archways as the bandits walk down to stop. When Sophie starts running I will have to quicken my pace.
In the shot after that I will have adjust the camera as Sophie gets stopped by a bandit and pulls out a shotgun.
Further down from the archways we found a plain of grass which would be good for the campsite that Sophie and her dad set up. In one sequence I capture Sophie walking back to camp and she sees her father and run to him as he dies.
As a final potential location for the opening shot at a cross we managed to find the one that the lecturer had brought up. If we used this cross instead of Ralph's Cross this would involve the jib to descend down on Sophie as she sits beside it.
