We were asked to set up an interview using one camera then two and finally three with Andrew being the interviewee and Sarah and Lee being the interviewers at one point. One matter that helped was that Sarah had asked what settings my camera was on so we could make the other camera settings the same.
A three camera interview is good because there are many angles that you can cut to such as the interviewer and interviewee and maybe a wide angle.
After we had done the interviews we then went out to get vox pops with our questions having to be topical and something current. My question was what people thought of the DC films :BVS and Suicide Squad. I managed to find 5 people in a group but only 3 of them answered my question plus Sarah and Ryan who answered my question. Afterwards we used Periscope - a live streaming app and ask our same questions. I had to be paired with Andrew because I can't get it on my phone.
For homework we had to find 2 streaming platforms one streaming service and one software:
My streaming service is YouNow - https://www.younow.com/. YouNow is a site you can stream from your phone or from your webcam. It has a chat function that can be used. Plus there are no trials you can sign up and get started.
My software option is Telestream. http://www.telestream.net/wirecast/features.htm#capture. Telestream has many different features that lets you control a stream your recording such as having an iPad or Iphone 4s or better become an extra camera. You can also control editing and audio as well as stream to anywhere such as youtube or twitch. It does cost $495 to buy however.
Here is a review I found:
"Wirecast 7 is an easy to use program that gives a lot of valuable flexibility while offering some very robust tools. It’s not cheap, but it’s not as expensive as some other options. Wirecast 7 holds a unique place in the market and would fit many different types of production. Event videographers, YouTubers, houses of worship, journalists and let’s players could all use Wirecast with some very high quality live streaming production tools."

Lee then failed at showing us an app that can connect up to 3
cameras on our phones that use the app and make a multi-cam show. It sounds like a good idea but the app had updated
and only recorded 15 seconds.
We were then showed a broadcast software called X Split that
we could use at Uni and use for our project. You can add graphics and text on
it and change the screen size. You can also use Picture in Picture to get multiple screens Also you can stream on multiple places but there
is an increased chance of crashing however there is a 15 second delay on it.
